Vallie Duncan (Plasters of Italy) and Chuck Bick (The Interior Touch) are combining their efforts for the new Drug Crafters located in Frisco, Texas. This state-of-the-art pharmacy will specialize in compounding medications for the community. Using our Safra products (Italian Plasters), gives us the opportunity to help provide a healthy environment for this facility. The lime product is called "Calcenova" and is a pure 100% unmodified lime containing very fine marble flour and natural earth pigments. The limestones that are mined from the Italian Alps is the purest lime available in the world. Our lime is non-allergenic, non-toxic, and mold-resistant. The Calcenova also prevents dust mites from burrowing into the surface and will assist in regulating the humidity. This formulation derives from the ancient methods of a lime technology that has been used for centuries in Europe.
The lower drywall ceilings in the main area are finished with the Calcenova. The upper bands are finished with the "Aquarello" meaning colorwash in Italian. Consisting of a limestone base then coated with the Aquarello, a transparant water based stain that is also a non-allergenic formulation. The bathrooms are also finished in the Aquarello. The recessed stone "Drug Crafters" logo was applied with the limestone and hand painted. We also provided the new paint finishes and the custom fauxed tiles on the main ceiling that emulate a tin ceiling.
Drug Crafters wil open to the public early November 2006.
